Aunt Evelyn wanted some "before" and "after" pictures of our new trailer flooring. Well, this is a BIG before picture - the trailer has carpet from end-to-end which means there's carpet in the kitchen and bathroom. They had put a big piece of carpet protector in the kitchen area so when I picked it up today, you can see the original carpet compared to what it looks like now. The streets down here really play havoc with the carpet - most people are ripping it out and putting in a hard surface flooring.
Now, for the disappointment part: the flooring was supposed to be installed today but it's raining. Gabriel called and said that if he comes over, all of his equipment will get wet in the back of his pickup so now it will Monday. He should check the paper because it looks like it's going to be raining off and on for the next several days. But he assured us that he will be here, even if it's still rainy because he'll find something to cover his equipment.
Guess I can wait another couple days...............................
Dad
Dad and Marvin's project is finished and all of the shelving and Marvin's boxes are back in the shed. I told them how nice is looked and all they could say was - it's only a shed. It looks beautiful compared to how it looked when we lived there. Oh well, that's men for ya.
I thought blogger had fixed it's issues but I'm still having a few problems this morning so I guess I'll just sign off and get to my newsletter. I had it planned that I would work on my newsletter all day while Gabriel was doing the floor. At least I'll still get my work finished today. Have a short interuption though when I go to play Hand 'n Foot this afternoon.
Have a good weekend!! Amy, stay warm!
Love to you all,
Gramma and MOM
