This is my favorite place to have breakfast in Tucson. Dad is not as keen on it as I am. I have the same thing every time I go - 2 eggs over medium, Rachel's tators (American fries with onion and green pepper) and toast. Good comfort food!!!
Here are the pictures of Dad playing Shuffleboard that I told you about in my earlier blog. I'm still having problems but found a way around it. This is at our park - next league game is Friday morning.
Look at his big smile!!
This picture is a bit interesting but a little errie. When we were at Uncle Elmer's on Christmas Eve, he wanted us to take a picture of him with his sister who lived just around the corner from him in the Rock Valley home. Uncle Elmer and his sister are cousins of Aunt Henrietta. She was telling us that her cousin in Rock Valley had died on Christmas morning - the one who lived in the same place that Uncle Elmer lived in. I said, can't be - we saw her on Christmas Eve. Then Aunt Henrietta started doubting it herself and thought maybe she had misunderstood her sister. We investigated and sure enough, this lady died the morning after I took her picture. She fell overnight and had a "brain bleed". Isn't that kinda creepy? I had the picture made and will send it to her son in Rock Valley. I talked to LaVonne about it and she told me to send it. She said her son's family would love to have it. It's really sad for Uncle Elmer because Gertie had a hard time walking so he would push her wheelchair and she would tell him where they needed to go. She took good care of him. They actually took good care of each other.
That's it for today. Love to all!!!!
