Columbia River in Washington

One of the prettiest scenes on the way to Washington is the Columbia River in Vontage, WA.  You come down a mountain and cross over this beautiful river about midway through Washington.

This is what I saw whenever I turned around - at least half of the time during the trip.  I lost the picture of the other boy in the back.  Sorry!!!

Sedro-Woolley is a little town about an hour south of Lynden.  This is where Brian, Chase's dad spent some of his teenage years.  They have such beautiful flowers in the northwest!!

On Saturday and Sunday, we relaxed and played - pictures of our day on Whidbey Island coming tomorrow but today it was "to work" for Grampa.

One of the things on his "daddy-do" list was to clean the grill for John.  He took it completed apart and scrubbed seven years of grease and gunk off it.  Then he fixed the ladder and is out there with a wheelbarrow now - not sure what's he's doing.  Oh yeah, he did take a short nap in the treehouse in between.

That's it for today - DeAnn and Sam are playing Aggravation - think I might have to show them how a "pro" does it.  Have a good evening everyone!!

Love,
Gramma and MOM
