The Peace Arch and the Bay

Saturday afternoon after the Hiemstra's picked up the Koele's in Seattle, we went to the Peace Arch which divides Canada and Washington.  There is a small park there with lots of sculptures and beautiful flowers.  Here are some pics from the gardens.

The "honeymooners"

Kurt straddling two countries - isn't he amazing.  No one really knew he could do the splits.

Isn't this sweet - the honeymooners are holding hands while Amy's taking a picture of the kids on the Peace Arch.

After visiting the Peace Arch, we went to the bay for a bonfire.  We roasted hotdogs, had smores and a good time.

 This poor little girl was so tired, she could hardly sit in her chair.  Way too many late nights!!!!
